In 2012, he owned about 2% of Facebook shares, valued at approximately $2 billion at the time. Based in Singapore, he is the co-founder and co-CEO of the venture capital firm B Capital, and has also invested in early-stage startups such as Qwiki and Jumio. The richest Brazilian, with an estimated net worth of US$32.1 billion as of November 2024, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he is the 55th richest individual in the world.
